Guest Information

There is a pack of general information about the property and local amenities in the Guests' Welcome pack at the property. The latest version of the Guest Information brochure is available, as a link to a Word document, on the "Kingstarn" page of this website. There is also a folder of instruction manuals for the equipment on the property.

Access Statement

From April 2007, participants in a National Quality Assessment Scheme were required to prepare a statement outlining the facilities and services offered, principally for the guidance of potential visitors with disabilities. This statement is known as an "Access Statement". Visit Britain is the organisation that assesses Kingstarn annually for quality; we currently hold a 4-star rating.

The access statement for Kingstarn is available as a Word document here and is also available from Cumbrian Cottages on request. A copy is held at the property in the Guests' Welcome pack.

Fire Risk Assessment

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 brought new fire safety regulations into effect from Autumn 2006. One requirement of the Order was that properties let out to guests should produce a Fire-Risk Assessment ("FRA").

The FRA for Kingstarn is available as a Word document here and is also available from Cumbrian Cottages on request. A copy is held at the property in the Guests' Welcome pack.
